Discover the beautiful region where some of the best wines in France are produced with this Medoc Wine Tour. You'll visit a châteaux and taste some great wines.

Tour Options

During the booking process, you'll choose between two options: the morning tour or the afternoon tour. Both have a total duration of 4.5 hours and include an English-speaking guide and an exclusive wine tasting.

Below are the itineraries:

Morning Tour (3.5 Hours)

Meet at the designated time in front of the Monument aux Girondins in the Place des Quinconces and explore the Médoc wine route.

The guide will provide information about the wines of the region. Visit a Château winery, tour the vineyards, and see the underground cellars. Conclude with a tasting of 2 or 3 local wines paired with traditional French apéritifs.

Afterward, continue through the Médoc region, learning about the main types of grapes and stopping at the famous Château Margaux. Return to Bordeaux after 3.5 hours.

Afternoon Tour (4.5 Hours)

Meet at the designated time by the Monument aux Girondins, then head to the Médoc vineyards.

During the 40-minute drive, the guide will share insights into Médoc's reputation. Participate in a wine-tasting workshop, learning to identify aromas and flavors. Visit a château cellar, and tour the vineyards and winery.

Enjoy a tasting of three or four wines with fresh bread, cheese, and regional delicacies, followed by another tasting at a family-owned winery. Return to Bordeaux about four and a half hours later.
