Tour Options

During the booking process, you'll be able to choose between two options: the morning tour or the afternoon tour. Both have a total duration of 4.5 hours and include an English-speaking guide and an exclusive wine tasting.

Below, you can check out the differences in the itineraries:

Morning Tour (3.5 Hours)

We'll meet at the designated time in front of the Monument aux Girondins in the Place des Quinconces and venture out on the Médoc wine route.

The guide will provide information about the wines of the region. We'll visit the winery of a prestigious Château and tour the vineyards and underground cellars. The visit concludes with a tasting of 2 or 3 local wines accompanied by traditional French apéritifs such as cheese, cold meats, or chocolate.

We'll continue through the Médoc region, learn about the main types of grapes, and make a short stop at the Château Margaux for pictures before returning to Bordeaux 3.5 hours after the start of the tour.

Afternoon Tour (4.5 Hours)

We'll meet at the designated time by the Monument aux Girondins and depart for the Médoc vineyards.

During the 40-minute drive, our guide will share insights into Médoc's status as one of France's main wine regions. Afterward, we'll visit a winery in Saint-Émilion, participating in a tasting workshop of 4 or 5 wines. We'll learn to identify different aromas and flavors before returning to Bordeaux about 4.5 hours later.
