Description

At the designated time, we'll meet in front of the Monument aux Girondins in Bordeaux. From there, we'll hop on the minibus and drive to the neighbouring town of Saint Emilion, where the rest of the group will be waiting for us.

Once we've all arrived, you'll be given your bikes and we'll start our tour through Saint Emilion's stunning vineyards. Let's get pedalling!

Throughout the day, we'll learn about the winemaking traditions in this part of Aquitaine as well as one of the most popular grape varieties: merlot. We will visit two main châteaux converted into wineries, where we'll taste between 5 and 6 wines.

At midday, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch in the gardens of one of the castles. Afterwards, we'll cycle to the centre of Saint Emilion for a short guided tour around the UNESCO World Heritage Site's most symbolic spots.

Finally, we'll leave the bikes behind and return to the meeting point in Bordeaux by minibus, concluding the tour after a total of 8.5 hours.
