Description

At the designated time, we'll meet in front of the Monument aux Girondins in Bordeaux. From there, we'll hop on the minibus and drive to the neighbouring town of Saint Emilion, where the rest of the group will be waiting for us.

Once we've all arrived, you'll be given your bikes and we'll start our tour through Saint Emilion's stunning vineyards. Throughout the day, we'll learn about the winemaking traditions in Aquitaine and the merlot grape variety. In addition, we'll visit two main châteaux converted into wineries, where we'll taste five of their best wines.

At midday, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch in the gardens of one of the castles. Afterwards, we'll cycle to the centre of Saint Emilion for a short guided tour around this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After a final wine tasting, we'll leave the bikes and return to the minibus for the trip back to Bordeaux, where the tour will conclude after a total of 8.5 hours.
