Description

At the designated time, we'll meet in front of the Monument aux Girondins in Bordeaux. From there, we'll hop on the minibus and drive to the neighbouring town of Saint Emilion, where the rest of the group will be waiting for us.

Once we've all arrived, you'll be given your bikes and we'll start our tour through Saint Emilion's vineyards. Let's get pedalling!

Throughout the day, we'll learn about the winemaking traditions in Aquitaine and the popular grape variety merlot. We will visit two châteaux converted into wineries, where we'll taste five wines.

At midday, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch in the gardens of one of the castles. Afterwards, we'll cycle to the centre of Saint Emilion and take a short guided tour around this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After a final wine tasting, we'll return to the minibus for the ride back to Bordeaux, concluding the tour after a total of 8.5 hours.
