At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Piazzale Campo della Fiera, in Borgo Maggiore, and set off on a memorable experience in San Marino's natural areas.

During our hike, we'll traverse the Rupe Trail, an alternative link to the classic route between the city entrance and the Third Tower, or "Il Montale". The trail also passes by the Second Tower, known as "Cesta" or "Fratta". You'll gain insight into the oldest independent republic in the world, revealing its unique side.

This route meanders along Mount Titano's slopes, featuring leafy trees and greenery, including the rare ephedra nebrodense. You will encounter impressive rock faces and enchanting views. Some trail sections may require more effort, but the experience is worthwhile.

The UNESCO-protected area offers excellent climbing spots and green terraces overlooking the Adriatic Sea. You'll see the secluded Tanaccia Sanctuary and an important archaeological site. This habitat is also home to the peregrine falcon, a bird that has nested here for centuries. Our knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights throughout the hike.
