Description
We will congregate at the designated time in front of the Robert Gould Shaw and the 54th Massachusetts Regiment Monument to kick off this ghostly adventure in Boston. Are you ready to delve into the eerie side of the city? Let’s embark on our journey!
As we set out, our first destination will be Boston Common, where an unsettling atmosphere awaits us at the Gallows Tree, infamously known as the "hanging tree" due to its association with early executions. Next, we will proceed past the Massachusetts State House, where the statue of martyr Mary Dyer stands. Have you heard the tale of the White Witch? You will uncover that story during our tour!
Continuing on, we will arrive at the Boston Athenaeum, where the legend of the reverend ghost who still inhabits its corridors will be revealed. Our journey will then take us to one of the nation's most haunted hotels, followed by a visit to the King's Chapel Burying Ground, which holds the title of the oldest cemetery in Boston.
Before concluding our adventure, we will stop at the Old State House and feel a shiver as we learn about the harrowing incidents connected to the Boston Massacre, which occurred in the vicinity. Our final destination will be the Granary Burial Ground, renowned as one of the country's most frequented cemeteries, and the memorial site for three signers of the Declaration of Independence.
We will complete our tour here, bidding farewell after an intriguing hour and a half together.
