Do you want to find out about the origins of America? Travel four centuries back in time on this Plymouth Plantation Tour.
Description
We'll pick you up from your accommodation in Boston at the scheduled time and head to Plymouth. After a 40-minute bus ride, we'll arrive at the Plymouth Plantation. Prepare to travel back in time.
First, we'll admire the beach and the Brant Rock community. As we walk its streets, we'll be transported to 1627 New England, experiencing life in a small farming and maritime community created by pilgrims. We'll explore their houses and watch actors recreate 17th-century life, observing activities such as buying bread, tilling land, and chopping wood. You can ask the locals questions if you wish, as they will be available to assist.
Afterward, you will have free time to get something to eat on the waterfront before visiting Plymouth Rock to learn about its history and pay tribute to the first settlers at their memorial.
Before concluding the tour, we'll visit the Pilgrims' Museum to see original period artifacts and furnishings, and the replica of the Mayflower II ship. We will also pass by the oldest street in the country.
After 8 or 9 hours, we will return to Boston, concluding a full day of learning about American history.
