Chaves Region 4x4 Tour
After picking you up at your hotel in Boticas at your chosen time, we will travel by 4x4 vehicle or minibus to Chaves, approximately a 30-minute journey.
Our first visit will be to the medieval castle of Chaves, rich in history. We will also learn about the São Francisco and São Neutel forts, significant constructions in the old town. Before leaving Chaves, we’ll stop at the Roman bridge built over the Tâmega River by Emperor Trajan.
Next, we will drive along Portugal’s longest road, Nacional 2, and see the famous point Kilometre Zero. The tour will conclude with a visit to the thermal baths, where we will discuss the construction and its importance as a social center of the time.
After three hours of travel, we will return to your hotel in Boticas.
