With this 4x4 tour from Boticas, you'll visit the beautiful monumental center of Chaves and explore the surrounding region.

Chaves Region 4x4 Tour

You will be picked up at your hotel in Boticas at your chosen time, and we will travel by 4x4 vehicle or minibus to Chaves, approximately a 30-minute journey.

The first visit will be to the medieval castle of Chaves, which has a long history of mysteries and legends. We will also learn about the history of the São Francisco and São Neutel forts, notable constructions in the old town. Before leaving, a brief stop will be made at the Roman bridge, built over the Tâmega River by Emperor Trajan.

Next, we will continue onto Portugal’s longest road, Nacional 2, and its famous point Kilometre Zero. Prior to concluding the tour, we will stop at the thermal baths, where we will explain its construction and significance as a social center of that time.

After three hours of travel, we will return to your hotel in Boticas.
