Royal Monastery of Brou Ticket

With this ticket to the Royal Monastery of Brou, you'll be able to visit one of the most significant monastic complexes in France, built in the early 16th century by Margarita of Austria, the Duchess of Savoy. The complex includes several monastic buildings around three cloisters and a uniquely ornate Gothic church. Information panels in multiple languages will enhance your understanding of the site's history.

Opening Hours

The Royal Monastery of Brou is open daily (excluding January 1, May 1, and December 25) during the following hours:

October 1st to March 31st: 9 am to 5 pmApril 1st to September 30th: from 9 am to 6 pm

Special Christmas Opening Hours

December 24th and 31st: from 9 am to 4 pm

Final admission will be 30 minutes before closing time, with departure 15 minutes prior to closing.

Free Admission

Admission is free for:

Young people from the EU aged 18 to 25.Children under 18 years old, of any nationality.

To receive free admission, visit the ticket office with a valid ID for eligibility verification. Admission is also free on the first Sunday of the month from January 1 to March 31, November 1 to December 31, and the third weekend of September.
