Muscat is a city on the shores of the Arabian Sea that combines modern buildings with ancient fortresses. Discover the capital of Oman with this guided tour.

Itinerary

Pickup will be at your hotel in the morning, proceeding to Shati Al-Qurm, an upscale Muscat neighborhood housing embassies and ministries. Here, you will begin the guided tour, appreciating the contrast between modern government buildings and ancient Islamic architecture.

The next stop is the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the largest in the country, built by a team of approximately 20,000 workers, covering around 420,000 square meters. Admire its geometrical patterns in marble.

Subsequently, visit the fish market and explore the narrow-covered alleys of the Mutrah Souk, where the aromas of spices, coffee, and herbal remedies pervade the air.

Later, visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum, where the history and culture of Oman can be appreciated (entrance ticket included). The tour concludes with a stop in front of the Al Alam Palace, the official residence of Sultan Qaboos.
