Muscat is a city on the shores of the Arabian Sea that offers a blend of modern buildings and ancient fortresses. Discover the capital of Oman with this guided tour.

Itinerary

We will pick you up at your hotel in the morning and head towards Shati Al-Qurm, an elegant Muscat neighborhood with embassies, ministries, and upscale hotels. Our guided tour will begin here.

Here, you will appreciate the contrast of styles in Oman's capital, where modern government buildings blend with ancient Islamic architecture.

Next, we will visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the largest in the country, built by up to 20,000 workers and covering almost 420,000 square meters. Marvel at its geometrical patterns in marble.

Then, we will visit the fish market and stroll through the narrow-covered alleys of Mutrah Souk, where the aromas of spices, coffee, and herbal remedies will engage your senses.

Later, we will head to the Bait Al Zubair Museum, where the history and culture of Oman can be explored (entrance ticket included). Before concluding the tour, we will stop in front of the Al Alam Palace, the official residence of Sultan Qaboos. Don’t forget your camera!
