Braga Guided Tour
Meet us at Largo da Praça Velha to begin our guided tour of Braga. In this historic plaza, we will admire the Porta Nova Arch, built in 1512, which leads to the Braga Wall.
Next, we will visit the Medieval Tower, an example of northern Portuguese architecture.
Our walking tour continues along Diogo de Sousa Street to the Town Hall building, constructed from 1754 to 1865, an impressive example of baroque architecture.
Braga, recognized as Portugal's religious center, features Santa Barbara Gardens and the Third Order Church, dedicated to Pope John Paul II, along with the Braga Cathedral. We will explore the history of this region.
The tour also includes notable 18th-century buildings such as Casa Rolão, Casa dos Crivos, and Capela e Casa dos Coimbras.
Finally, we will return to the meeting point 2.5 hours later, concluding our tour.
