Our adventure begins at the designated time under the Arco da Porta Nova in Braga, from where we will head south.

Following a scenic drive of about 30 minutes, we will arrive in Guimarães, one of the most enchanting cities in northern Portugal. We will start our tour at the Castle of Guimarães, a fort dating back to the 10th century, renowned as one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. Here, we will have the opportunity to climb the castle walls and take in breathtaking panoramic views of the city while we share the tale of how the nation was founded.

Next, we will visit the Paço dos Duques de Bragança, a majestic palace from the 15th century that showcases the splendor of the Portuguese aristocracy. The exquisite interior, featuring tapestries, antique furnishings, and historical weaponry, offers a captivating glimpse into history.

Our exploration continues in the historic center of Guimarães, where we will wander through a labyrinth of narrow streets filled with charming old houses, artisanal shops, quaint squares, and inviting cafés. You will then have some leisure time to savor lunch at one of the local restaurants in the city center.

After lunch, we will reconvene and proceed to a delightful Vinho Verde tasting. Cheers to a wonderful experience!

At the conclusion of the tasting, we will return to our original meeting point in Braga, with an estimated arrival time of 6 hours post-pickup.
