Braganza Liqueur & Chestnut Tasting
At the selected time, we will meet at the Marron Oficina da Castanha store to indulge in the local delicacy. Chestnut is one of the most typical products of Bragança.
We'll start by visiting the Chestnut Museum, where we will explore different elements that showcase how the chestnut roasting and preparation process has evolved. Roasters, furniture, and traditional utensils will be highlighted during this part of the tour.
Next, we will proceed to the chestnut workshop. Here, we will observe how the chestnuts are prepared today and taste the famous chestnut liqueurs and sweets made locally.
The activity will conclude after a 45-minute visit.
