Following this, we will proceed to the stronghold of Bran, famously known as the home of Count Dracula. Gain insights into the fascinating tale of Vlad "the Impaler", who inspired Bram Stoker's legendary novel. Subsequently, we return to Brasov. The schedule of this delightful trip aligns closely with the tour of Dracula's castle and Rasnov citadel also available.

Bran, Rasnov, and Peles Trip (8 hours)

This private tour immerses you in Transylvania and Wallachia, beginning in Brasov. Our first stop is the enchanting fortress of Rasnov, rich in mystery and tales. Next, we head to Bran Castle, where the legend of Count Dracula looms large.

After some leisure time for lunch in Sinaia, we will tour the stunning Peles Castle, acclaimed for its architectural significance during the late 19th century. Your guide will share intriguing details about its history. The day concludes as we head back to Brasov.

Trip to Sighisoara (8 hours)

From Brasov, we will drive straight to the medieval town of Sighisoara, renowned as the birthplace of Vlad Tepes, known as "the Impaler", the real-life figure behind Count Dracula. The itinerary includes a visit to the iconic Church of the Hill and the Clock Tower, which houses the city’s History Museum. After some time for lunch, we will return to Brasov while taking in the beautiful view of the exterior of the stunning Citadel of Rupea, one of the region's prominent fortifications. Our route is quite similar to the excursion to Sighisoara.

Trip to Sighisoara and Viscri (9 hours)

Beginning in Brasov, we will head towards Viscri, a quaint village in the heart of Transylvania with many hidden gems. You will wander through its historic center and marvel at the fortified church. Moving forward, we will arrive in Sighisoara, where Vlad the Impaler was born. The visit includes the renowned Church of the Hill and the exquisite Clock Tower. Around midday, you will have time to relax and explore the charming streets of the old town.

In the afternoon, following lunch, we will regroup and set off southward. We will conclude the journey back to Brasov after a quick photo opportunity at the impressive Citadel of Rupea.

Please note that the trips do not encompass entrance fees for the monuments listed in the itinerary. The following sites require ticket purchases, along with their prices per person:

Admission to the Church of the Hill, the Clock Tower in Sighisoara, and the fortified church of Viscri is included in the tour's price.

Essential Information

Peles Castle is not open on Mondays and Tuesdays. If your tour falls on one of these days, we will return directly to Brasov after visiting Bran Castle.The Clock Tower of Sighisoara is closed every Monday. If your visit occurs on that day, we will replace it with a tour of the Lutheran Church.The fortified church of Viscri is generally closed from November to March. If your tour is during this period, we will only visit the exterior of the church.Renovations mean that access to the upper section of the Rasnov Citadel is restricted until further notice.
