Bratislava Guided Tour
We will convene at the scheduled time at the Park Inn by Radisson Danube Hotel. From this central location, our full tour of Bratislava will commence, allowing us to delve into the city’s significant monuments, squares, and hidden corners.
As we wander through the historic district, intriguing anecdotes and insights about the diverse blend of Czech, Austrian, and Hungarian influences will be revealed. Our exploration will feature landmark structures like the Opera House, Town Hall, Franciscan Church, and St. Martin's Cathedral, which holds the title of the oldest church in Bratislava. A notable highlight: this site hosted the coronations of the Kingdom of Hungary from 1563 until 1830!
Along the way, we will pass through the ancient Michael's Gate and meander through the enchanting narrow streets in search of the city’s most iconic statues. Among these artistic treasures is a fireman popping out of a sewer, a French soldier, a suited gentleman, and even a paparazzi, all reflecting Slovakia's affection for street art.
The latter part of our tour will involve a drive to the splendid Grassalkovich Palace, the official residence of the Slovak president. We will also venture into the modern section of the city, making a stop at the renowned Bratislava Castle.
After an enriching three-hour exploration of Bratislava's allure, our tour will conclude at our initial meeting place.
