Leave the bustle of Bratislava city centre and explore one of the Roman Empire's most famous wine-growing regions, discovering historic royal cities and visiting Cerveny Kamen Castle.

Cerveny Kamen Castle & Wine Route

After being picked up from your hotel, you'll leave the Slovakian capital behind, delving into the hilly landscapes of Bratislava and Trnava agricultural zones, known for vineyards for over 2000 years. This area provided wine for the forts and towns of the Roman Empire.

Your tour will take you to the Little Carpathians, where you'll explore the historic royal towns of Svaty Jur, Pezinok, and Modra, founded between the 12th and 14th centuries in the Kingdom of Hungary. These towns are located on one of Slovakia's famous wine routes. Modra is particularly known for its production of ceramics and blue and white porcelain, popular with souvenir shoppers.

The next stop will be Cerveny Kamen Castle, known as "Red Stone Castle." This site features a unique collection of furniture, antique weapons, and immense cellars.

Before returning to Bratislava, you'll visit a traditional winery for a tasting of some of the region's best wines.

The tour will finish in Bratislava city centre.
