On this day trip to Cicmany from Bratislava, we will explore unique dwellings in northwestern Slovakia and enjoy the spa in Rajecké Teplice.

Cicmany + Rajecké Teplice Spa Day Trip

The tour begins at Bratislava Central Station. The high-speed train departs at 8:27 am for Zilina, arriving at 10:30 am.

Upon arrival at Zilina station, we will board a vehicle to our first stop: Rajecká Lesná. Enjoy the scenery during the drive while learning about the region.

At Rajecká Lesná, we will view the wooden Nativity Scene, featuring over 250 figures, and discuss the local traditions and history.

Next, we will visit Cicmany, renowned for its uniquely decorated wooden houses. As we stroll through the village, notice the facades with white decorations and various motifs known as the Cicmany pattern.

An hour of free time will be provided for lunch before we proceed to Rajecké Teplice, allowing you two hours to enjoy the spa.

After the spa, we will return to Zilina. Before boarding the train, a short guided tour of the historic center will be conducted.
