On this day trip to Cicmany from Bratislava, we'll explore northwestern Slovakia and its distinctive dwellings, along with a visit to the spa in Rajecké Teplice.

Cicmany + Rajecké Teplice Spa Day Trip

The tour begins at Bratislava Central Station. At 8:10 am, a high-speed train departs for Zilina, arriving at 10:37 am.

Upon arrival at Zilina station, we'll board a comfortable vehicle to our first stop: Rajecká Lesná. Enjoy the scenic drive while learning about the region.

At Rajecká Lesná, we will visit the wooden Nativity Scene, one of the largest wooden sculptures in Slovakia, featuring over 250 figures, where you will learn about local traditions and history.

Next, we will proceed to Cicmany, known for its uniquely decorated wooden houses. We will stroll through the village and observe facades adorned with white decorations featuring the Cicmany pattern.

There will be an hour of free time for lunch before continuing to Rajecké Teplice, where you can relax in the spa for two hours.

Afterward, we will return to Zilina for a brief guided tour of the historic center, known as the capital of northwestern Slovakia.

Finally, we will take the train back to Bratislava, arriving at 9:50 pm.
