Chapada Imperial Tour

If you want to get away from the stressful noise of the city, this activity is perfect. We'll visit the Chapada Imperial, an impressive natural reserve located on the outskirts of Brasilia.

Description

At 9 am, we'll meet at the Chapada Imperial Ecological Reserve, a protected natural area situated at 4,403 feet (1,342 meters) above sea level. Upon arrival, you can select from different trails varying by difficulty. You can walk independently until your chosen trail starts, which will depend on the selected route.

All routes conclude at the meeting point, where we will have lunch cooked in a wood oven, including chicken with saffron, manioc, beans, and pasta with sauce. After lunch, you may stay in the reserve until 5 pm.

Types of trails

Short trail (1.5 hours)

This 0.6-mile (1 km) hike starts at 10:40 am and is low difficulty, suitable for children and the elderly. The route includes swimming in natural pools, visiting 4 waterfalls, and enjoying viewpoints.

Medium trail (3.5 hours)

This 1.9-mile (3 km) route of medium-moderate difficulty begins at 10:20 am. It includes visits to 15 waterfalls with opportunities to swim and features a 4x4 tour.

Long trail (4.5 hours)

This 2.5-mile (4 km) trail is for those over 7 years old and starts at 10 am. It includes visits to 30 waterfalls and a 4x4 section, with insights into the local fauna and flora.

Zip line circuit

Additionally, a zip line circuit is available after lunch at 3 pm, with no extra cost. Important: Due to the health situation, the zip line activity is currently not available.
