Have you ever wanted to see the stars? On our La Palma Stargazing Experience, you'll admire a starry night from a unique perspective and learn lots of fun facts about our night sky.

La Palma Stargazing Experience

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Travesía Los Cancajos, in the municipality of Breña Baja. After introductions, you'll follow the guide to our stargazing viewpoint. The viewpoint will depend on weather conditions and is typically located on the island's peaks. Once there, we'll get out of our cars and start to admire the night sky.

La Palma is recognized as one of the best places in the world for stargazing due to its altitude and low light pollution. We will observe star clusters, nebulae, and possibly the spiral arm of the Milky Way. A telescope will help us spot celestial bodies light-years away, and we'll identify some well-known constellations, including how to find the North Star.

After three and a half hours, we will conclude our activity and return to the starting point.

Transport not included

The meeting point is not the stargazing location. From there, we will travel to the stargazing spot, which takes approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the day's weather.
