La Palma Stargazing Experience

Have you ever wanted to see the stars? On our La Palma Stargazing Experience, you'll admire a starry night from a unique perspective and learn lots of fun facts about our night sky.

La Palma Stargazing Experience

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Travesía Los Cancajos, in the municipality of Breña Baja. After introductions, you'll follow the guide in your vehicle to our stargazing viewpoint.

The chosen viewpoint will depend on the weather conditions, typically located on the island's peaks. Upon arrival, we'll exit our cars to admire the night sky.

La Palma is recognized as one of the best places in the world for stargazing due to its altitude and low light pollution. We'll observe star clusters, nebulae, and potentially the spiral arm of the Milky Way.

Using a telescope, we’ll view celestial bodies located light-years away. We will also identify notable constellations and explain how to find the North Star.

After three and a half hours, we will conclude our activity and return to the starting point.

Transport not included

Please note that the meeting point is not the actual stargazing location. The drive to the stargazing spot typically takes 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the day’s weather.
