Would you like to experience time travel in the capital of Barbados? On this guided tour of Bridgetown, you'll discover this World Heritage Site.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll start our guided tour of Bridgetown at the Statue of Errol Barrow in Independence Square. Barrow was the first prime minister of Barbados.

For 2 hours, we'll explore the past of the island and the history of Bridgetown, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2011. We will walk past the Parliament and learn about its role in the former Commonwealth of Nations and observe the cannons throughout the city.

We will also visit the house where the famous singer Rihanna was born and raised in Saint Michael. This typical wooden house has become a tourist attraction.

Next, we'll visit the Synagogue and the Cathedral, built in 1789, which has its own history. We will discuss the events surrounding this monument and stroll through the burial ground.

Before concluding our Bridgetown walking tour, we'll recommend places for you to further enjoy this Caribbean destination.
