Would you like to experience time travel in the capital of Barbados? On this guided tour of Bridgetown, you'll discover this World Heritage Site.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll start our guided tour of Bridgetown at the Statue of Errol Barrow in Independence Square. Barrow was the first prime minister of Barbados.

For 2 hours, we will transport you to the past of the island. You'll hear about the history of the capital of Barbados, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 2011. Explore the buildings of the city.

We'll walk past the Parliament and learn about its role in the former Commonwealth of Nations. We'll also view the cannons that lie quiet in the streets of Bridgetown.

The famous singer Rihanna was born and raised in the Barbadian capital, specifically in Saint Michael. She grew up in a wooden house, which is now a tourist attraction for fans of the singer of Umbrella.

Next, we'll visit the Synagogue and the Cathedral, built in 1789 with a unique history. We'll share what happened to this monument and the timeline of its significance. We'll also walk through the burial ground.

Before we finish our Bridgetown walking tour, we'll recommend various places for you to continue enjoying this Caribbean destination.
