Would you like to experience time travel in the capital of Barbados? On this guided tour of Bridgetown, you'll discover this World Heritage Site.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll start our guided tour of Bridgetown at the Statue of Errol Barrow in Independence Square. Barrow was the first prime minister of Barbados.

For 2 hours, we'll explore the past of the island. You'll learn about the history of the capital of Barbados, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 2011. We'll walk past the Parliament and discuss its role in the former Commonwealth of Nations while also examining the cannons in Bridgetown.

Rihanna, the famous singer, was born in this capital, specifically in Saint Michael, where she grew up in a typical wooden house, now a tourist attraction for fans.

Next, we'll visit the Synagogue and the Cathedral, built in 1789, with its own notable history. We'll provide insight into the monument's past and explore a burial ground.

Before concluding our Bridgetown walking tour, we'll recommend various places for further enjoyment in this Caribbean destination.
