Walk through the garden of La Alcarria with this guided tour of Brihuega. You'll discover its numerous medieval monuments while the smell of lavender intoxicates your senses.

Description

We'll meet at the designated time at the Puerta de la Cadena and start a guided tour around Brihuega, one of the most important towns in the Alcarria. This tour will explore the medieval history of Brihuega as we walk along the remains of the old walled town. We will visit the interior of the church of San Felipe, if there is no worship in progress. Brihuega is noted for having five Romanesque parish churches.

Key highlights include the old washing place, El Coso square, and the remnants of the Arab wall, leading us to the Peña Bermeja Castle and the Prado de Santa María Church, among the most visited monuments in the town.

The tour concludes at the Cozagón Arch two and a half hours after departure.
