Description
We'll meet at the designated time at the Puerta de la Cadena and start a guided tour around Brihuega, an important town in the Alcarria. The tour focuses on the medieval history of this area as we walk along the remains of the old walled town. We will visit the church of San Felipe, provided there is no worship in progress. Brihuega is noted for having five Romanesque parish churches.
Our route will include the old washing place, El Coso square, and the remnants of the Arab wall of Brihuega. We will conclude this segment at the Peña Bermeja Castle and the Prado de Santa María Church, one of the most visited monuments in the town.
