Walk through the garden of La Alcarria with this guided tour of Brihuega. You'll discover its numerous medieval monuments while the smell of lavender intoxicates your senses.
Description
We'll meet at the designated time at the Puerta de la Cadena and start a guided tour around Brihuega, one of the most significant towns in the Alcarria. The tour will explore the medieval history of Brihuega as we walk along the remnants of the old walled town. Highlights include the church of San Felipe, which we will visit unless a worship is ongoing, and the old washing place.
We'll continue to El Coso square and the remains of the Arab wall before reaching the Peña Bermeja Castle and the Prado de Santa María Church, a key site in the town. The tour concludes at the Cozagón Arch two and a half hours after departure.
