Glow Worm Caves Day Trip from Brisbane

Discover the magic of Tamborine Mountain's Glow Worm caves and scenic wonders. We'll see Glow Worms up close and enjoy a guided tour of the mountain.

Day Trip Details

On the day of the activity, pick-up will occur at the selected meeting point, followed by travel to the Scenic Rim and Tamborine Mountain.

Upon arrival at Tamborine Mountain, we will visit the renowned Glow Worm caves, where an expert guide will provide insights during a boardwalk tour through the jungle and into the glowworms' habitat. The specially designed glow worm cave offers conditions for glow worms to thrive. Participants will have the opportunity to see the glow worms and their silk threads up close.

Following the cave visit, we will drive through Tamborine Mountain National Park, allowing for hop on and off the bus access around the mountain.

After this adventure, there will be 3 hours of free time for lunch at local restaurants or cafes, as well as shopping on the Gallery Walk.

On the return to Brisbane, lookout stops will provide views of the Scenic Rim for photo opportunities. The tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel after a total of 8 hours.

Important Info

The guided part of the tour is limited to the visit to the Glow Worm caves. The remainder allows guests to explore at leisure using the bus.
