Since 1987, Tangalooma Island Resort has offered Brisbane’s closest Whale Watching day cruise, plus the opportunity to enjoy ‘island life’ for the day. Marvel at the annual migration each June to October of the Humpback Whales, as they journey from Antarctica along the east coast of Australia. These acrobats of the ocean pass through Moreton Bay, often with their newborn calves, creating one of the greatest spectacles of the sea. Hop onto our Whale Watching vessel, a smooth sailing and comfortable catamaran and you will receive expert commentary by the Eco Rangers as you help to spot these majestic creatures.

Wild Dolphin Viewing

From the vantage point of the jetty, see the family of dolphins who visit Tangalooma each evening up close and at their most charming. Create unforgettable memories as you make your way to the grandstand at sunset for a great view of these incredible creatures as they arrive and play, splash and chase each other in the water.

Wild Dolphin Feeding

What better way to finish the day by coming face-to-flipper with the charming dolphins and taking part in hand-feeding a family of wild dolphins. Watch them speed into the shallows each night, where they play together and entertain until it’s time to be fed.
