Dampier Peninsula Tour
On this tour of the Dampier Peninsula, we will explore the landscapes of the Kimberley region. Starting at 7 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Broome and travel north to begin the tour. Our first stop will be at an Aboriginal community in Beagle Bay, where we will visit the Sacred Heart Church, notable for its altar made of pearl shells.
The tour will proceed to One Arm Point, offering views of the Buccaneer Archipelago. Nearby is a trochus snail farm, where we will discuss the region's saltwater traditions. Next, we will visit Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, an Australian pearl farm with an extensive history, where a delicious lunch will be provided.
After lunch, we will continue to Kooljaman Beach, granting you free time to enjoy the area, known for its striking reddish cliffs. The tour concludes with our return to Broome, arriving at approximately 7:30 pm.
