Discover the history behind The Venice of the North on this guided tour of Bruges. At the end of the tour, feel free to hop on a boat and enjoy a ride along the canals of Bruges.
Description
At the designated time, we will meet outside the Bruges train station, opposite Carrefour Express for a guided walking tour of Bruges. This city, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999, features many hidden gems and iconic monuments.
The walking tour lasts two hours and includes visits to The Church of Our Lady of Bruges, St. John's Hospital, The Gruuthusemuseum, and The Basilica of the Holy Blood, among other significant sites.
We will stop at the Lake of Love (Minnewater) for photos and visit The Beguinage (Begijnhof), founded in the 13th century for widows and orphans. The atmosphere here is tranquil.
The tour will conclude at The Market Square (Markt), where we will provide your tickets for a 30-minute boat trip through the canals, completing your experience of the city.
