Located in the heart of the Grote Markt, Historium Brugge is the most visited tourist attraction in Bruges. Your ticket includes entrance to the permanent Historium Exhibition, showcasing medieval objects, and admission with an audio guide to the interactive Historium Story exhibition, which narrates the story of Jacob, an apprentice to painter Jan van Eyck, during the Golden Age of Bruges in the 14th and 15th centuries. The exhibition features projections, scenery, and special effects illustrating the daily life of Bruges in the Middle Ages. The visit to both exhibitions lasts approximately one hour.

Virtual reality experience

You can book an option that includes the virtual reality experience at Historium Brugge. This experience features an 8-minute 3D tour of medieval Bruges using special VR glasses. The minimum age for this experience is 6 years.

Children under 15

The children's ticket is valid for ages 5 to 15, while the infant ticket is for children under 5. For the virtual reality experience, the children's ticket applies to those aged 6 to 15. Infants under 6 can enter Historium Brugge but not participate in the virtual reality experience.
