Description
Choco Story is a museum in Brussels dedicated to chocolate. It is located in rue de l'Etuve, near the Grand-Place. Inside, visitors explore the history of cocoa and chocolate, tracing back over 5000 years, starting with the Mayan and Aztec origins and its introduction to Europe. The exhibit covers how chocolate became popular in France, Belgium, and Switzerland.
During the tour, the process of making chocolate is explained, including fermentation, drying, roasting, and conservation. Additionally, your ticket includes a demonstration by a master chocolatier. You will watch an expert prepare pralines, a specialty of Brussels confectioneries.
The visit culminates with a tasting of the chocolates prepared by the chocolatier.
