Description
Choco Story is a museum in Brussels dedicated to chocolate, located in rue de l'Etuve, near the Grand-Place. The museum explores the history of cocoa and chocolate over the past 5000 years, starting with the Mayan and Aztec origins and its introduction to Europe, detailing how it became popular in France, Belgium, and Switzerland.
During the museum tour, visitors will learn about the process of making chocolate, which includes fermentation, drying, roasting, and conservation. A highlight of the ticket is a demonstration by a master chocolatier, where an expert prepares pralines, a specialty of Brussels confectioneries. At the end of the demonstration, visitors can taste the chocolates made by the chocolatier.
Opening times
Choco Story Brussels is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm, with the last admission at 5 pm.
Chocolate workshop
