Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, we will meet in central Brussels and be accompanied by our guide to the bus. We will head south through the landscapes of Wallonia and the Ardennes.

After a 1 hour and 40-minute drive, we will arrive in Dinant, located on the Meuse River. There, we'll visit the Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame and the House of Adolphe Sax, the saxophone inventor. Following the guided tour, there will be free time for exploration and local cuisine.

Next, we will drive approximately 1.5 hours to Luxembourg, the capital of the Grand Duchy. Upon arrival, a walking tour of the historic centre will commence, starting at Place d'Armes and proceeding to the Notre-Dame Cathedral.

The tour will continue to important sites, including the Neumünster Abbey, a 17th-century structure in the historic Grund district and a World Heritage Site. Afterward, you will have free time to eat and explore.

In the afternoon, we will reconvene in the city centre and return to Brussels, arriving at the meeting point within 11.5 to 12 hours from the morning pickup.

The order of visits and lunch breaks may change for organizational reasons, possibly visiting Luxembourg first.
