Christmas has come to Bucharest! To check it out, we'll meet at the indicated time at the Romanian Athenaeum. We'll start strolling through the narrow streets of the center and explore the oldest Christmas traditions.

We'll first see the largest Christmas market in Bucharest, located in front of the Palace of Parliament. Here, you'll discover the most popular Romanian Christmas Eve menu, featuring meat rolls. While admiring the stands, you'll learn about Christmas in Bucharest and discover that Mos Nicolae, the Romanian Santa Claus, leaves presents twice. The stalls will also showcase typical Romanian nativity scene figurines.

You'll explore original Christmas baubles and enjoy the sweet aromas of cinnamon and ginger throughout the market. To complete this Christmas tour of the capital, we'll see various landmarks in Bucharest, such as the Hotel Marmorosch, the Royal Palace, and Revolution Square, all beautifully decorated.
