Bucharest Christmas Tour

Christmas has come to Bucharest! We'll meet at the Romanian Athenaeum and stroll through the narrow streets to uncover Christmas traditions from the Middle Ages.

Our first stop will be the largest Christmas market in Bucharest, located in front of the Palace of Parliament. Here, you’ll discover Romania's popular Christmas Eve menu, featuring meat rolls. While exploring various stands, you’ll learn interesting facts about Christmas in Bucharest, including how Mos Nicolae, the Romanian Santa Claus, leaves presents twice. You'll also see typical Romanian nativity scene figurines.

Experience original Christmas baubles and enjoy the aromas of cinnamon and ginger throughout the market. The tour also includes visits to beautifully decorated landmarks such as the Hotel Marmorosch, the Royal Palace, and Revolution Square.

After 2.5 hours of festive exploration, we’ll conclude the free tour at Constitution Square. As the locals say, cr?ciun fericit!
