Bucharest Christmas Tour

Christmas has come to Bucharest! We will meet at the indicated time at the Romanian Athenaeum. The tour will explore the narrow streets of the center and the history of Christmas traditions.

First, you'll visit the largest Christmas market in Bucharest, located in front of the Palace of Parliament. Discover the popular Romanian Christmas Eve menu, featuring meat rolls. While exploring the market stands, learn interesting facts about Christmas in Bucharest. For example, Mos Nicolae, the Romanian Santa Claus, leaves presents twice and you will also see typical Romanian nativity scene figurines.

Enjoy the most original Christmas baubles alongside the sweet aromas of cinnamon and ginger. The tour will also showcase landmarks in Bucharest, such as the Hotel Marmorosch, the Royal Palace, and Revolution Square, all beautifully decorated for the season.

After 2.5 hours of exploring, we will conclude the free tour at Constitution Square. As locals say, cr?ciun fericit!
