Delve deep into the mountain landscapes of Transylvania and Wallachia on this full-day trip from Bucharest. Explore Bran, known as Dracula's Castle, and the Peles palace-castle.

Day Trip Details

After pickup from your hotel or chosen meeting point in Bucharest, head north through the forests of Transylvania. The first stop is Sinaia, where you will visit Peles Castle, the summer residence of the Romanian royal family featuring decor from the late 19th century.

Next, travel to the historic city of Bra?ov. During the journey, learn about the city and its main monuments. You will have 1.5 hours of free time upon arrival to explore the historic city center or dine at local restaurants.

After lunch, visit Bran's Castle, associated with Vlad “The Impaler”, the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s novel “Dracula”. Explore the castle's corridors to learn about the myth and its cultural significance.

After the visit, begin the return journey to Bucharest, admiring scenic views along the way.
