We will first explore the neoclassical Romanian Athenaeum, a significant building for Romanian culture. After learning about its history and the local appreciation for it, we will discuss the monarchy's role in Bucharest's evolution during the 19th century, viewing notable buildings from this era.
The tour will continue with stops at Revolution Square and University Square, where pivotal events occurred in Romania's history between 1989 and 1991.
