Transylvania 2-Day Tour

Day 1: Bucharest - Sinaia - Bran - Brasov

Picked up in the morning from your hotel in Bucharest, you'll travel north into Transylvania. After approximately two-and-a-half hours by bus, your first stop will be in the mountain resort of Sinaia to visit Peles Castle, built between 1873 and 1914. This complex was the summer palace of the Romanian royal family and currently serves as a museum.

Next, visit the mysterious Bran Castle, associated with Count Dracula, on a guided tour where you will learn about Bram Stoker's inspirations. You will have free time for lunch before proceeding to Brasov, where you will explore the historic center, including the Black Church, a Gothic architectural landmark. Overnight stay in Brasov.

Day 2: Brasov - Sighisoara - Rupea - Bucharest

After breakfast, depart for Sighisoara, known as the city of Dracula, where you will discover its vibrant streets and history. Then, visit the Rupea Citadel, known for its historical significance and panoramic views.

Your next stop will vary: from November to May, visit Prejmer, a World Heritage Site. From June to October, take the Transf?g?r??an, a famed winding road. The tour concludes with a return to Bucharest.

Please Note

The return via the Transfagarasan Highway is available from June 30 to October 30, weather permitting. From December 1 to May 31, the stop at Prejmer is included, and the Transf?g?r??an route will not be taken.
