Transylvania 2-Day Tour

Day 1: Bucharest - Sinaia - Bran - Brasov

Begin your day with a morning pickup from your hotel in Bucharest and travel north into Transylvania. After approximately two-and-a-half hours by bus, you will first visit the mountain resort of Sinaia and the renowned Peles Castle, constructed between 1873 and 1914, now a museum showcasing an important historical monument.

Next, visit the iconic Bran Castle, linked to Count Dracula. Engage in a guided tour to uncover the inspiration behind Bram Stoker's novel. Enjoy free time for lunch before heading to Brasov. Explore the historic center and key landmarks, including the Black Church, a prime example of Gothic architecture. Stay overnight in Brasov.

Day 2: Brasov - Sighisoara - Rupea - Bucharest

After breakfast, depart for Sighisoara, the city associated with Dracula. Wander through its colorful streets and learn about its history. Then, proceed to Rupea Citadel, a notable fortress with panoramic views.

The following stop varies seasonally: from November to May, visit the Prejmer church, a World Heritage Site. From June to October, traverse the Transf?g?r??an, one of the world's most intriguing roads.

The tour concludes with a return to Bucharest after two days.

Please Note

The return trip will use the Transfagarasan Highway only from June 30 to October 30, subject to weather conditions. From December 1 to May 31, the tour will stop at Prejmer without traveling along the Transf?g?r??an highway.
