Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Charles de Gaulle Square to kick off our guided tour, visiting two famous locations in Bucharest.
The first stop is the Village Museum, also known as Satului Museum. This open-air ethnographic collection spans over 100,000 square meters and features more than 300 rustic buildings that showcase traditional Romanian village life, including wooden houses, farms, mills, and churches.
As we explore this outdoor museum, we will discuss the history of rural life in Romania and how people lived centuries ago, enhancing our understanding of Romania's cultural diversity through architecture and traditional clothing on display.
Next, we will visit Herastrau Park, known for its outdoor activities. We will conclude our tour by admiring a significant monument associated with Bucharest's reputation as the Little Paris.
After 3.5 hours, we will return to our starting point, concluding the tour.
