Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Charles de Gaulle Square to start our guided tour, exploring two significant locations in Bucharest.
Our first stop is the Village Museum, also known as the Satului Museum. This open-air ethnographic collection covers over 100,000 square meters and showcases more than 300 rustic buildings that reflect traditional Romanian village life, featuring installations such as wooden houses, farms, mills, and churches.
As we walk through this outdoor space, we'll explore the history of rural life in Romania and how people lived centuries ago, gaining insight into Romania's cultural diversity through the displayed architecture and traditional clothing.
Next, we will move into Herastrau Park, a popular area for outdoor activities. We will also admire a prominent monument that contributes to Bucharest's reputation as the Little Paris.
After 3.5 hours away from the downtown hustle, we'll conclude the tour back at our starting point.
