Budapest’s sightseeing bus tour offers two routes with over 20 stops, allowing exploration of the city’s landmarks and neighborhoods on an open-top double-decker bus. Visitors can learn about the capital’s history and monuments with individual headsets providing pre-recorded commentary in English or 24 other languages. Booking options include 1, 2, or 3 day tickets. Notable stops include St Stephen’s Basilica, Heroes’ Square, Margaret Island, and the Hungarian Parliament.

How it Works

Tickets are valid for 1, 2, or 3 consecutive days from the first use. For instance, a 2-day ticket activated on Monday at 3 pm will be valid until Wednesday at 3 pm. Passengers can hop on and off as many times as desired. Upon reservation, a start date is required, but the service can be used within the two weeks following this date. Ticket validation is required when boarding.

Danube River Cruise & Guided Visit

Your tourist bus ticket includes a 1-hour cruise on the Danube River, departing from pier 6, showcasing views of the Parliament, the Chain Bridge, and Buda Castle, with an audio guide provided. Additionally, a guided visit in English around Budapest's old quarter lasts 1 hour, departing from the Basilica stop and ending at Chain Bridge.
