The Pearl of the Danube shines at night, and its main landmarks are bathed in golden light, offering a unique view to both locals and visitors. With our Budapest Night Tour, we’ll explore the main highlights of the Pest side and end with an optional boat ride on the Danube, where we can enjoy the best panoramic views of both riverbanks of the city. Enjoy a walking tour led by a local Spanish-speaking guide, who will share every detail about the Hungarian capital.

We’ll begin our tour next to St. Stephen’s Basilica, dedicated to King Stephen I of Hungary, a saint and the country’s patron. From there, we’ll head toward Liberty Square to uncover the history behind some highly controversial monuments, such as the Memorial to the Victims of the German Occupation and the Soviet Memorial.

Near the monumental Hungarian Parliament, we’ll delve into the debate surrounding the Monument of National Unity and learn about the unique features of the equestrian statue of Rákóczi II. Our walking tour will conclude at the banks of the Danube River, but not before we discover who Imre Nagy was and what he symbolizes for Hungarian society, as well as one of Budapest’s most iconic bridges.

Enhance your experience with a boat ride on the Danube.

If you want to make your nighttime visit to Hungary’s capital even more unforgettable, make sure to select the optional Danube boat ride before completing your booking, for a magical cruise under the moonlight.

During this wonderful one-hour boat ride, you’ll enjoy views of the city’s main sights lit up at night, and learn more about places like the Hungarian Parliament, the Fisherman’s Bastion, the Chain Bridge, Buda Castle, and Gellért Hill, among others.
