Description
Uncover the mysterious and haunting side of Budapest, the "Pearl of the Danube." As the sun sets, the city reveals its darker past. Meet at the Kilometer 0 stone of Clark Adam Square, where our guide, dressed in historical attire and carrying a lantern, will lead us on a journey through the secrets and legends of the Buda quarter.
We'll explore the slopes of Buda Castle Hill, sharing tales of its shadowy inhabitants. Learn about Vlad Tepes, the Wallachian prince who inspired Bram Stoker's Count Dracula, and the Buda district. Hear the story of Countess Erzsébet Báthory, known for her obsession with youth and the alleged murder of over 600 young girls.
After two hours of exploration, the tour will culminate at the Fisherman's Bastion. From here, enjoy the mesmerizing nighttime view of the Danube River as it flows through Budapest.
At the end of the tour, we will provide directions to return to the meeting point.
