Day Trip Details

We will meet at Apáczai Csere János utca in Budapest and set off on a road trip of nearly 1.5 hours to Kecskemét. Here, we will embark on a 1.5-hour guided walking tour of the historic center to explore its main buildings. We will walk along Bohemian streets and view the Town Hall, a Nouveau masterpiece, and the Cifra Palace, known for its colorful decoration seen in various local churches.

After Kecskemét, we will proceed to Lajosmizse to visit Tanyacsárda, a traditional Hungarian equestrian ranch. Upon arrival, you will receive a shot of pálinka and freshly baked crackling buns. You will then have time to explore the ranch and enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride.

Post carriage ride, a traditional Magyar three-course lunch will be served with wine or mineral water. The day concludes with a traditional equestrian show, featuring skilled riders on Lipizzan horses and sturdy Hungarian crossbreeds. After 8 hours, we will return to the starting point.
