Puszta Day Trip with Equestrian Show

On this tour, we'll visit the Great Hungarian Plain (Puszta), the Baroque town of Kecskemét, and a rustic farm. The itinerary includes a horse show and a traditional meal.

We will meet at Apáczai Csere János utca in Budapest and depart for a road trip of almost an hour to Kecskemét, situated in the heart of the Puszta.

In Kecskemét, we will have a guided walking tour of the historic center, where we will see the town hall, theater, and some churches.

Following our visit to Kecskemét, we will travel to Lajosmizse to visit a traditional Hungarian farm. Upon arrival, local shepherds will offer us a glass of barackpálinka, an apricot brandy. We will then enjoy a ride in a horse-drawn carriage.

At the end of the ride, we will watch a traditional equestrian show featuring skilled riders. The excursion concludes with a three-course traditional Hungarian meal and a drink in a rustic Csárda, accompanied by traditional music.

After approximately eight hours, we will return to Budapest, concluding the tour in front of the InterContinental Hotel.
