If you’re a classical music fan, you’ll enjoy a magnificent electric organ concert at St. Stephen’s Basilica, one of Budapest’s most beautiful neo-classical buildings, with remarkable acoustic.

Program

The performance starts at 8 pm and lasts 70 minutes (without intermissions).

The concert was composed by Miklós Teleki, a prominent Hungarian organist. It features Kolos Kovács, Kossuth Prize award-winner bass singer, and Eleonóra Krusic as first flute.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791): Fantasy in F minor K 506.Alessandro Stradella (1639-1682): Pieta SignoreTommaso Albinoni (1671-1751): AdagioLiszt Ferenc (1811-1886) and Camille Saint-Saëns (1835-1921): Legend in G Major (San Francisco of Assisi and the birds).Giuseppe Verdi (1813-1901): Fiesco's aria, from the opera Simon Boccanegra.Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750): Orchestral Suite No.2 in B minor BWV 1067; Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565.
