On this free tour of Buenavista del Norte, we will explore the attractions of this town on the north coast of the island of Tenerife.

The tour commences at the Plaza de Los Remedios. We will visit the church of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, established in 1513, and learn about El Granero, a storage building from 250 years ago.

As we proceed along Calle del Chorro, we will share stories related to the culture and history of the area. The tour includes a visit to the Barranco de Triana ravine, featuring old washing places used for both laundry and livestock watering.

We will also visit the founding site of Buenavista del Norte, previously owned by Juan Méndez "El Viejo," discussing the locality’s connections to the world of the dead and the aborigines.

The tour continues to the significant Cruz de Toledo, leading us to the Plaza de San Sebastián. Here, we will see the old Convent of San Francisco, which served as a municipal cemetery until 1946.
