Quindío Coffee Tour

At the designated time in the morning, we'll meet at the Parish Church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen in Buenavista. From here, we'll begin a route through the coffee plantations that surround this Colombian municipality.

Throughout the tour, we'll discuss the coffee tradition of Quindío and its impact on local life. You'll learn how coffee is planted and how many families depend on it, as well as insights into the coffee culture in this region of Colombia.

Halfway through the tour, we'll stop at a typical farm that produces coffee, bananas, and other fruits. You will have the opportunity to engage with the family running the plantation, learn about their lifestyle, and discover the production processes of coffee beans. We will take a break to enjoy a typical Quindío lunch accompanied by a delicious cup of coffee.

Finally, we'll return to Buenavista after four hours of exploring the coffee plantations of Quindío.
