The Argentine Asado, Much More than Food

The Argentine asado is a tradition symbolizing family and friend gatherings. This workshop invites you to explore and prepare this culinary ritual. We will meet at The Asado Experience at the scheduled time, where hosts will share the intricacies of the asado.

Set in an old family manor house over 100 years old, this venue is ideal for making authentic Argentine asado. We will learn about different cuts of prime-quality meat, but the focus extends beyond meat.

The class includes lessons on starting the fire, preparing embers, and the cooking times needed for each cut of meat. Additionally, we will cover the secrets of chimichurri, which complements the meat.

Following the lesson, we will enjoy a meal featuring choripán, black pudding, pork matambrito, sweetbreads, and a pork loin with roasted vegetables, paired with Argentine malbec wine. The dessert will be a dulce de leche-type treat.

The experience concludes after approximately 3 hours.
