The ticket remains valid for 1 or 2 days commencing from its first use. For instance, activating a 2-day ticket at 3 pm on a Thursday means it will remain valid until the following Saturday at 3 pm.
Throughout this period, you are free to hop on and off the buses as many times as desired. This allows you to comfortably explore fantastic sites such as the La Boca neighborhood, the lush parks in Palermo, and the historical district of San Telmo.
