At your selected time, you'll set sail from Buenos Aires port on a fast ferry. In 1 hour and 15 minutes, you'll arrive at Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, where a bus will take you to Montevideo, approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes away. Upon reaching Montevideo, you'll have time to explore the city at your own pace, with recommendations to visit Plaza Independencia, home to the Solís Theatre and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Other attractions include the Mercado Agrícola, El Prado neighborhood, Playa Pocitos beach, and the Estadio Centenario.

At the end of your visit, head to the Tres Cruces Terminal on General Artigas Boulevard to catch the bus back to Colonia del Sacramento, where you will take the ferry to Buenos Aires.

Departures from Buenos Aires ferry terminal: 8:30 am, 10:30 am, 12:50 pm, 6:30 pm, and 8 pmDepartures from Montevideo bus station: 5 am, 7 am, 1 pm, 2:30 pm, and 5 pm
