Situated near the Obelisk, Tango Porteño was formerly a cinema and now serves as a theater, preserving its art-deco architectural design. The venue is renowned for popular tango shows featuring professional casts and impressive stagings.

The theater includes a restaurant focused on local gastronomy, blending tradition and modernity in its dinner menus.

The Show

The show features a traditional tango, picaresque and milonguero, with a singer performing famous tangos like Gardeliano, Pasional, El Día que me quieras, and Balada para un loco. It reflects a significant era in tango history while embracing the deco style of the Golden Age. Additionally, folklore and malambo elements highlight another facet of Argentine culture.
