Situated next to the Obelisk of Buenos Aires, Tango Porteño was formerly a cinema and has been transformed into a theater, maintaining its art-deco style. It is recognized for hosting the most popular tango shows, performed by a professional cast every night.

The theater includes a restaurant that focuses on local cuisine, offering traditional and contemporary dinner menus.

The Show

The performance incorporates traditional tango, picaresque, and milonguero, featuring famous tangos such as Gardeliano, Pasional, and others. The atmosphere captures the essence of the significant period in tango history and showcases folklore and malambo elements.

Show Schedule

The show runs from 9:30 pm to 11:15 pm. Dinner starts at 8:30 pm for options that include meals. For pickup options, timing varies by area:

Pickup in Palermo: between 7:15 pm and 8:30 pm.Pickup in Recoleta: between 7:45 pm and 8:30 pm.Pickup in Microcentro: between 8 pm and 8:30 pm.

Specify your accommodation's address and reserve by 5 pm on the same day. Late reservations will require meeting at the theater, with return transfer included only.
