Next to the Obelisk of Buenos Aires, Tango Porteño is an old cinema transformed into a theatre, retaining its art-deco architectural design. It is known for its popular tango shows featuring a professional cast and impressive stagings, attracting spectators nightly.

The theatre includes a restaurant that specializes in local cuisine, offering traditional and modern dinner menus.

The Show

The show begins with a traditional tango, picaresque and milonguero, alongside a singer performing famous tangos such as Gardeliano and Balada para un loco. The performance highlights the history of tango and features a refined atmosphere reminiscent of the Golden Age. Additionally, folklore and malambo elements are incorporated into the show, showcasing another facet of Argentine culture.

The show runs from 9:30 pm to 11:15 pm with dinner at 8:30 pm for applicable options. For those choosing pickup, confirmation will be made the day before, typically starting at 7:15 pm. Specify your accommodation's full address and make your reservation by 5 pm. Late reservations will meet at Teatro Tango Porteño, with only the return transfer included.
