Adjacent to the notable Obelisk, Tango Porteño is housed in an art-deco cinema previously operated by Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer. It serves as a prominent venue for popular tango shows featuring a professional cast, drawing audiences nightly.

The theater includes a restaurant specializing in local cuisine, presenting traditional dishes in innovative dinner menus.

The Show

The performance commences with a traditional tango alongside a singer performing renowned tangos such as Gardeliano and Balada para un loco. The show reflects the significant era of tango, enhancing the experience with a refined atmosphere and authentic deco elements of the Golden Age. Additionally, folklore and malambo performances introduce more of Argentina's musical heritage.

The show runs from 9:30 pm to 11:15 pm. For dinner options, the meal begins at 8:30 pm. Pickup for those choosing that option occurs between 7:15 pm and 8:30 pm, based on accommodation location.

To facilitate a smooth pickup, please provide your full accommodation address and reserve by 5 pm on the same day. Late reservations will require meeting at Teatro Tango Porteño, with return transfer included only thereafter.
