El Viejo Almacén, founded in 1969 by Edmundo Rivero, is a prominent tango venue in Buenos Aires, recognized as a site of exceptional cultural interest in 1982. Many renowned tango artists, including Aníbal Troilo and Roberto Goyeneche, have performed here, attracting notable attendees such as King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofía of Spain.

The tango show lasts for one and a half hours, featuring an orchestral quintet, four tango couples, and vocal performances. Hugo Marcel, an influential actor and tango singer, is a key performer.
