El Viejo Almacén, located in the heart of the San Telmo neighborhood, is one of the best places in Buenos Aires to enjoy an authentic tango show, a Porteño classic not to be missed!

Buenos Aires is full of great temples of tango, one of the most outstanding being El Viejo Almacén. This iconic spot, founded in 1969 by composer Edmundo Rivero, was declared a site of exceptional cultural interest in 1982. Notable tango figures such as Aníbal Troilo, Osvaldo Pugliese, and Roberto Goyeneche have performed here, attracting global attendees including Spanish King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofía.

The tango show lasts one and a half hours, featuring an orchestral quintet, four tango couples, a male singer, a female vocalist, and a folk music group. The renowned tango singer Hugo Marcel is a key performer.

Schedule: the show begins at 10 pm and ends at 11:30 pm.

Show with Traditional Dinner + Pickup

Enjoy a three-course dinner in the Mi Buenos Aires Querido room before the show from 8 to 10 pm. You can opt for a vegan, vegetarian, or children's menu. Includes two drinks during the show and transfers with the following pickup times:

Palermo hotels: 7 - 7:15 pm.Microcenter, San Telmo, Recoleta, Puerto Madero, Congreso: 7:30 - 8 pm.

Show with VIP Dinner + Pickup

This option offers a three-course dinner in the Mirador room with menu options available. Also includes two drinks during the show and transfers with the same pickup times as the previous option.
