Ons Island Boat Trip
From Bueu, you'll take a ferry to Ons, located in the Natural Park of the Atlantic Islands. This beautiful island has been inhabited since prehistoric times. Upon arrival, you can walk along the beaches and admire the landscapes. Adventurous visitors can choose a hiking route (not included) and should also enjoy the island's traditional gastronomy, such as the famous Ons octopus (food not included).
The architecture on Ons combines characteristics of a typical Galician coastal town with scenic views. Interact with locals in the restaurants and shops available.
Authorization to visit Ons Island
Ons is a protected area with a daily visitor quota, so authorization from the Xunta de Galicia is required to visit. During high season (from May 15 to September 15 and at Easter), you must provide your own authorization, which will be sent via email. Outside of high season, the guide will bring the authorization on the day of the tour.
If someone cannot attend, please provide at least 15 days' notice and the name of the absent person for removal from the list.
Guided tour of Ons Island
From October 1 to May 14 (excluding the Friday before Easter to Easter Sunday), the ferry ticket includes a one-hour guided tour of the island.
