Tour Details

We will convene at Lyabi Hoyuz pond at the scheduled time to commence our personal tour through Bukhara, a city rich in Uzbek heritage. You retain the freedom to choose which attractions to explore as we journey through this historical destination.

Our first destination will be the Mausoleum of Ismail Samani, a landmark that heralded a significant evolution in Central Asia's architectural style. Here, you will find the remains of Amir Samani, the Samanid Empire's founding figure. Next, we will visit the Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum, which is revered locally for the beneficial waters found in its well.

The tour will then lead us to the Bolo Haouz Mosque, which has earned the status of a World Heritage Site. Its columns are recognized as the tallest in Bukhara. Across the street, we will identify the Ark of Bukhara, the fortress that served as the emir's residence.

We will proceed to the Poi Kalyan complex, featuring a mosque, an active madrasa, and the towering Kalon Minaret, the highest minaret in the city. In close proximity, you'll find the Ulugbek Madrasa, noted as the oldest one in Bukhara and the only extant monument from the Timurid era, alongside the exquisite Abdulaziz-Khan Madrasa.

Our journey continues with a visit to the Maghoki Attori Mosque, the oldest mosque in Uzbekistan, constructed in the 9th century atop a former pagan temple.

The Lyab-i-Hauz area, a bustling hub of local life, promises an engaging atmosphere complemented by the presence of the Kukeldash and Nadir Divanbegi madrasas. The tour will conclude at the Chor-Minor, which stands out as one of Bukhara's iconic symbols with its four striking blue-domed towers.

After approximately 5 to 6 hours of exploration, we will return to your hotel, concluding our time together. Farewell until our next adventure!
