Kyzyl Kum Desert 2-Day Tour

Day 1: Bukhara - Nurata - Kyzyl Kum

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Bukhara at the indicated time and board a minibus to start this 2-day tour of the Kyzyl Kum desert. The name means "red sand" in Uzbek. After a 4-hour drive, we'll arrive at Nurata. This ancient city features the Chashma complex, Juma Mosque, Panjvaqta Mosque and the Nurata Arab Baths.

Next, we’ll stop at a yurt camp in the Kyzyl Kum desert, where you can bathe in Lake Aidar. Enjoy a traditional dinner and attend a typical desert folklore show. Afterwards, you will rest in the yurts.

Day 2: Kyzyl Kum - Samarkand - Bukhara

After a night in the desert, we will have breakfast while enjoying a sunrise. We will then drive to Samarkand for you to have lunch on your own. You can choose to end the tour in Samarkand or Bukhara. If you choose Bukhara, you will arrive at your hotel by 5 pm.

This tour includes one night's accommodation in a yurt camp in the Kyzyl Kum desert, accommodating up to 4 people.
