In this activity we'll gaze at the night sky in the Vetón forest of Cabezabellosa. We'll learn to how to interpret the constellations from both a mythological and scientific perspective.

Cabezabellosa Astronomy Tour

Shortly after sunset, we'll meet at the indicated point, located a few metres from the natural observatory of the Vetón forest of Cabezabellosa.

This location, at an altitude of 900 metres (2952 feet), offers a view of a clear night sky devoid of light pollution. We will identify key stars and learn the names and meanings of the constellations, while discovering new celestial bodies and listening to ancient myths related to cosmology.

We will also observe the stars scientifically, learning about the physical processes and the formation of stars and other space objects over millions of years.

After two hours of stargazing, we'll conclude the activity by returning to the starting point.
