Bandera Hill Hike

Your journey begins with a 9 am pickup from your accommodation in Puerto Williams. We will traverse the scenic trails that lead deep into Navarino Island. Let’s embark on this adventure!

Upon reaching the trailhead, we’ll commence a delightful 2-mile (3.5-kilometre) trek through one of Navarino Island's most stunning regions. This Patagonian island, part of the Chilean territory in the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, enchants every visitor. Prepare to be immersed in the astonishing views as we navigate through the southernmost forests on the planet.

Our unforgettable journey will lead us to the summit of Bandera Hill, soaring to a height of 2,132 feet (650 metres). At the peak, you’ll be rewarded with magnificent vistas of Puerto Williams. On clear days, the view may stretch across the Beagle Channel to encompass Ushuaia and other areas of the Argentine side of Tierra del Fuego.

Atop Bandera Hill, the dramatic landscape of the Dientes de Navarino peaks also awaits, offering stunning panoramas that will leave you in awe. Enjoy a light snack here as you take in these remarkable sights.

Once we have recharged our energy, we’ll descend along the same trail back to the starting point. Following the hike, you’ll be returned to your hotel in Puerto Williams by 1 pm.
