Row through the icy waters of the Beagle Channel and admire the coastline of Puerto Williams and Navarino Island on our kayak tour, exploring the Chilean part of Tierra del Fuego.

Beagle Channel Kayak Tour

At 10 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Williams and drive to a campsite on the city's outskirts. Upon arrival, we will discuss safety rules and prepare our wetsuits, waterproofs, protective skirts, and other necessary equipment. Then, we will get into our kayaks.

We will row through the icy waters of the Beagle Channel, starting in a sheltered area to help you get accustomed to kayaking. As you gain confidence, we will venture away from Puerto Williams to enjoy the coastline and the sights of Navarino Island.

During the tour, we will identify bird species native to this remote southern tip of South America and learn about the history of the Yaganes, an Indigenous Fuegian community with centuries of heritage.

The tour ends with our return to the campsite, where we will enjoy a snack of local products and a craft beer. We will drop you off at your hotel in Puerto Williams at 2 pm.

Sea Lion Watching

For an enhanced experience, consider booking the kayak tour with a longer route and lunch that includes sea lion watching.
